Living in Agia Anna
The small fishing village of Agia Anna is located about 6 km from the Chora (the main town). Here in Agia Anna, the most beautiful beach of the island begins (Plaka), extending over 5 km up to Mikri Vigla and continues after Mikri Vigla for many kilometers to the south. Behind the grassy dunes (as on the North Sea - but with better weather) are many small taverns,amazing food all day. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset over Paros. Directly from the picturesque little port of the village there are buses into townevery 30 minutes- but really there is only little reason to leave this little paradise very often. In several small supermarkets you get everything you need for a modest life and tavernas are plentiful. This place is suitable for people who rather seek peace by the sea, instead of the bustle of the city. And of course, especially for families with children. On the beaches of Plaka the clean water drops slowly and the children can play safely here.
